How usage is counted
Usage is counted in files: every GEDCOM file we successfully check counts once against your monthly allowance, no matter how many exports you download from it. The counter resets on the first of each calendar month — no rolling windows, no surprises. Files that cannot be read as GEDCOM never count. Guests can convert one file at a time (up to 10 MB) and download the report plus the individuals spreadsheet; a free account raises that to 5 files a month and adds the families spreadsheet. Files are kept for 72 hours after each conversion, on every plan.
